Long live the rose that grew from concrete.
Real relationships. Real conversations. Real opportunities. We support justice-impacted individuals and vulnerable youth through mentorship, prevention, education, and access. Because young people need more than programs. They need people who believe in them.
A community-centered mentorship initiative helping youth and justice-impacted individuals recognize their potential, build resilience, and create a different path forward. Circumstances influence decisions. Opportunities shape outcomes. And the right person in your corner can change the trajectory of a life.
To provide mentorship and support to those who are justice-impacted, and develop preventive measures for vulnerable youth, fostering resilience and growth in the face of adversity.
A community where individuals impacted by the justice system can thrive, and vulnerable youth are guided and supported to prevent future incarceration by normalizing mental health support and building confidence.
A 6-month, relationship-centered program for vulnerable and justice-impacted youth, built around credible messengers who connect through authenticity, lived experience, and trust. It isn't about talking at youth. It's about relationships strong enough for them to be heard, challenged, supported, and encouraged.
A referral does not define a young person. It simply connects them to another layer of support.
Goal — Help youth understand who they are and who they can become.
Goal — Help youth understand themselves before emotions control decisions.
Goal — Build healthier relationships and tools for handling conflict differently.
Goal — Move from talking about the future to creating a plan for it.
Goal — Give youth practical tools they can use toward independence.
Goal — Help youth identify realistic opportunities and a vision beyond the program.
“I've been there. I understand. And I'm willing to walk with you.”
This isn't about authority. It's about connection. Our mentors bring lived experience, understanding, accountability, and hope — and they complete training before they ever serve.
A credible messenger uses authentic connection, relatability, and lived experience to guide young people. Sometimes a young person needs to see someone who looks like them, understands them, and made it through. That connection opens doors that authority never could.
